- This is your problem: there is _no_ language called C/C++. There is C,
- and there is C++. Choose which you want to learn, use the

- You seem to know that this is C++. Did you honestly not know that C++
- is not C (You posted to comp.lang.c instead of to comp.lang.c++!)? Are
- you sure you are using a C++ compiler and not a C compiler? Some
- programs can compile both C and C++, if you are using one of them,
- read the documentation to see when it behaves as a C compiler and when
- as a C++ one.
